These all-day meetings are made up of a networking lunch, peer to peer review, and feature talks and presentations from industry partners that work directly with the BACN. These talks can range from injectables and skin care to business support and insurance concerns. Regional meetings create a space for businesses to interact with aesthetic nurses and showcase new and innovative products, whilst BACN members learn about the latest developments happening in aesthetics today.

These events are totally free for members to attend, and as this is a new region for the BACN, guests are welcome to attend at no cost! Members are encouraged to come along to as many events across the UK as they would like. The day is a fantastic opportunity to network with nurses in your local area, learn something you may not have already known, and feel just that little bit more connected after such a long time apart.

Excitingly, these will be the first meetings attended by many of our new regional leaders! There are limited spaces available for each location, so book soon to avoid disappointment.

More Nurses are considering registration with the CQC. This presentation will help you to understand what is involved in that process and how it can support the safety of your service alongside increasing your business growth.

Tracey Jones is a senior lecturer in nursing at a Russell group university, she is a registered nurse and a regulation consultant. Tracey has supported over 100 clinics to become registered with the CQC and regularly works with clinics to help prepare for a rating inspection. Tracey is a BACN member who owns her own CQC registered skin clinic in Chester.

She founded Dr Bejma Medical Clinic to enhance the lives of her clients, bringing together some of the Yorkshire region’s premier aesthetic practitioners who provide a carefully selected range of non-surgical cosmetic treatments.

This presentation will provide an overview of pigmentation, causes, grades and treatment options, as well as eye rejuvenation treatment and case studies. Jodie will advise what inspired her to incorporate CO2 treatments into her clinic - and her top tips for making it a success.The session will be finished by a Q&A opportunity. Why Acupulse?

Jodie's career started in nursing 19 years ago, the last 9 years of which she has specialised in medical aesthetics as an Advanced Aesthetic Nurse Prescriber. Jodie's first clinic, The Grove Skin & Laser Clinic, opened in 2013 and then moved to larger premises on Glanmor Road, Uplands, Swansea. It is considered one of South Wales most advanced skin and laser clinics. The clinic offers a variety of treatments to address many skin concerns that include IPL Laser Hair Removal, Skin Tag/Mole/Cyst Removal, skin peels, lip fillers, anti-wrinkle injections, medical needling and Tattoo Removal, to name a few.
