A short welcome from BACN chair Sharon Bennett

Anna Baker is a Cosmetic and Dermatology Nurse Practitioner who has been involved in developing award-winning Dalvi Humzah Aesthetic Clinical Training with Lead Tutor, Mr Dalvi Humzah, since it’s inception in 2012. She is the coordinator and an assistant tutor for this teaching. With a keen interest in facial anatomy, Anna holds a post-graduate certificate in Applied Clinical Anatomy-specialising in head and neck anatomy, and awarded ‘Highly Commended’ at the 2016 and 2017 Aesthetic Awards in the ‘Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner of The Year’ category. Anna has been a BACN Board member for a number of years and has worked on various projects including heading up the Education and Training committee.

Jonathan will be covering the following topics: - The different COVID finance measures that have been implemented during the year and how these are accounted for in tax - Transitioning from sole trader to limited company - Making Tax Digital and the need to update your record keeping to be properly compliant with MTD - Useful pointers on VAT onathan is the BACN treasurer and has been working in public practice since 2004 and qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 2007. He runs an accounting practice in the south of England and assists clients with personal tax, corporation tax, VAT, sole trader, partnership and limited company accounts including tax planning matters. Over recent years he has developed a keen interest in the Aesthetic Medicine industry and assists clients with tax compliance matters in this area. He has given talks at BACN regional meetings on VAT, tax planning and general business. Jonathan is regularly asked to conduct choirs, music composition and is a church organist in his free time.
