Donna Mills is a Derbyshire-based dentist with 11 years of experience in facial aesthetics. She has been recognised for her work with multiple awards, such as ‘Best Patient Journey’ and ‘Best Mid-face Rejuvenation’ by the International Academy of Advanced Facial Aesthetics. In her practice, building trust with her patients is always a top priority. The session will cover the important considerations in treating the face, such as anatomy, full facial assessment, balance, and product choice, with a focus on the lower facial third. Delegates will be encouraged to engage in discussion on treating patient cases. With abobotulinumtoxinA celebrating its’ 10th anniversary this year, the session will also cover its’ treatment indications and heritage. The demonstration will showcase the versatility of the Restylane dermal filler portfolio and its use in the lower face. Particular attention will be drawn to creating a proportionality and facial balance to compliment each individuals’ features.

Mel has been working in the aesthetic industry for 13 years, working for larger cosmetic surgery businesses and smaller independent aesthetic clinics. She is also a trainer for a number of well-established medical aesthetic training companies. During this time Mel’s passion for aesthetics has led her to share her skills and knowledge through teaching and training those already working within the industry and those new to it. Mel currently has a number of roles; she is on the board of the BACN, and co-chair of the BACN Education and Training Committee. She is also a lead trainer for Cosmetic Courses, a faculty member and brand ambassador for Allergan as well as one of the Senior Nurses for The Private Clinic Group. She also runs her own aesthetic clinic - Alchemy in Aesthetics. Mel regularly contributes to journals and speaks at industry conferences such as CCR and ACE. Within this session, Nurse Practitioner, Mel Recchia will showcase the use of chemical peels in treating a variety of skin concerns, using the clinically proven NEOSTRATA® PROSYSTEM PEELS in conjunction with pre & post peel homecare. She will discuss patient selection, protocols including application and homecare. There will be a short presentation followed by a live demonstration.
